Hi Ces, very nice to meet you! How cool is it you're from the Phillipines? Hope Bobby heads back to Toronto soon so you can see him!

Hey, folks, I'm Shannon, from Houston. I have decided to come out of hiding (I'm not really good at all of this technology stuff...I tend to lurk briefly, and then decide that I'm not going to post...ever). I am usually the girl that sings too loudly at shows (sorry in advance for future shows). I love old records, and I love to go to shows. I miss Charleston, SC because I'm a native South Carolinian, and there were loads of amazing shows there.... Thanks to the dedicated people running this site! Without it, I would only get misinformed elsewhere! In short, you rock.

No need to apologize to me about singing, I know I tend to do it a lot too, especially when Bobby is jumping up the blues rock like he seems to be doing lately. It can't be helped and I feel no personal shame for it. Nice to meet you!

Alicia, envious! I want to visit Germany some day. I hear the shows he played out there were downright incredible and that everyone there was super supportive.

My name is Courtney and I am from the St. Louis area. I first started listening to Bobby Long in about.. hmm.. August or October of 2008? When I heard he was finally venturing to the U.S. I got so excited that I conquered my fears and took a trip to Nashville by myself (my very first road trip alone) just to see him play. It was worth it! Bobby blew me away musically and I met some of his other fantastic loyal listeners and his shows never get old. An immense talent, that one.

The bluesy guitar bits get me too! Especially in Winter Tale and when he adds to Penance Fire Blues (Hoochie Coochie or In My Time of Dyin) it gives me chills & gets my heart pumping! Someone named Sara posted a video from Philly & I think it's the best version of PNB yet Bobby World Cafe
