I'm really hoping he still does, at least sometimes, so maybe I get a chance to meet him. I've recently read that a few people have said he doesn't much anymore, but I've also seen that he's done it after some of the big shows/events. So maybe he's only been doing it when it's scheduled for things like that but not after smaller venues? I hope not!

It stinks because the first and only time I got to see Bobby is when opened for Matt Pond in May 2010. I couldn't stay because I was pregnant with my twins and there was so much smoke and my feet were killing me from standing the whole time! So, because I left immediately after Bobby played, I actually don't even know if he stayed and talked to fans or signed autographs or anything that night.

What have all of your experiences been recently? What does he usually do now?

Hi! I saw him a couple of weeks ago at a free outdoor concert near Philadelphia and he spoke with a bunch of us afterwards. He was very gracious, kind and funny. My niece was with me and he signed our shoes! Very Happy

I saw him at Poor David's Pub in Dallas on Sept.14 (a great show!), and he met with fans afterward and signed CDs & the like. He was kind & patient with everyone, and allowed us to have a picture taken with him! We had met Bobby before, but this was the first time we'd talked to him face-to-face since the first time we saw him a couple years ago. (Thanks, Bobby!!)

Just curious to know if you got to a show this year, and whether you got to meet Bobby or not?
I've been to several now, all at different venues and with both small and large crowds. On only one occasion was Bobby not available to his fans after the show. Later it was explained that he had an obligation to do some media and interviews before getting on the road to his next destination and a very limited amount of time thanks to the distance they had to travel.
In my experience Bobby is very gracious and patient when he does come out to sign autographs and he never makes it seem like a chore or something he doesn't enjoy. In fact, he'll probably keep you talking longer than you expected you'd be able to.
So good luck in getting to meet him, I'm sure it will happen for you if it hasn't already. The odds are in your favor Wink

Yes, I did. Got to do a meet & greet for helping with promotion, actually. It was awesome!!! Like you said, gracious and patient. I've posted a couple things on this site randomly about it and a review of the show I went to in Milwaukee in October. It's probably still on the Home page, you'd just have to go back far enough to read it.
