Hello all! I feel like I have told this story a zillion times but since this is new and I don't know many of you, I figured I'd share! My name is Kimmie. I found Bobbys music on youtube in Feb of 09 while I was listening to another musician, Joe Wilkes, that played at Underground Sessions. The first song I heard was either "The Game Were Playing" or the Dylan cover and I wanted an album. Of course I couldn't find it at that time so I traveled to Nashville to purchase one on his initial industry tour in April. The rest is history. Still love the music and can't wait for the upcoming album.

"This Forum is for serious discussions about bobby long and his music" I'm done for. I'll be banned in a weeks time. I don't do SERIOUS very well. So before that happens,
Hey peeps. I'm Sibyl. I was an actress working the stage way way way off London until I fell for this evil man who didn't age. He ripped out my heart and tossed me away like a kneenex so I killed myself by drinking poison. Don't try that at home. Then you will be forced to enjoy bobbylongsongs via youtube because well you're dead and dead people can't just be showing up at bobby shows as a ghost and scaring the crap out of him. No one wants that. So be happy go to bobby shows and don't drink poison over some wanker.

We should mention at this point that we find you hilarious and don't want you stop being you. We just don't want to know about Bobby's elbows and such. However, we do demand continued stories about Ireland. Sibyl_Vane wrote: "This Forum is for serious discussions about bobby long and his music" I'm done for. I'll be banned in a weeks time. Hi!! My name is Catherine (never Cathy) & i'm a pretty new Bobby fan. I don't really listen to folk music & I don't like country, but I like him. I haven't seen him play live yet but I'm going to try to get to a show if he has any this summer. I'm still learning his songs too. I don't usually post on boards either.

Hi! My name is Mandi, and I'm currently from Florida. I say "currently because we just moved here from Tennessee a few months ago...waaaa! LOL I first saw Bobby in Texas a at a place called Poor David's Pub. That weekend changed my life! I have since seen Bobby several times right down the street from where I live, and everytime it's amazing. Like many of you have mentioned I am blown away by his musical maturity. He's also such a wonderful and gracious person. It's hard to pick favorite songs, but I have to say "Who Have You Been Loving" and his new one "I Give Her Love" just give me chills. Can't wait until I can go to my next show!

Hey, my name is Jessica from good ol' SW Ontario. I have been listening to Bobby for just about a year now and because of his music I've had the opportunity to talk with some wonderful people in this past year and some I even got to meet! The first song I heard and instantly fell in love with was "A Game We're Playing" from the underground sessions (that song will always be my favourite). My first Bobby show ever was in Texas and I would like to say that was my most memorable show, but it wasn't...I mean it was, but for other reasons. Maybe I should have left the camera at home and not have watched him perform through a lens lol. I can't help it! The most memorable show musically was Chicago (September), that was a great show and I love that city. It was a cool night for me over all. I love graphic design, photography, music, movies basically anything art related. I took photography in school and although I love, love, love it and still shoot, I decided to go a different route. So Im in design now and typography is my newest love haha. I watched a documentary called HELVETICA and if anyone else in here knows Graphic Design they will get me ( I hope lol) when I say it's a fairly informative inspirational movie. Im a geek, I know. Oh I love to travel - LOVE it! I want to backpack someday. mmm.... thats all I suppose.

Hi, everyone! My name is Ces and I'm from the Philippines. I learned about Bobby in one of the article about his friend last year and it mentioned his myspace account, I got curious and really liked the sound of his music and the words he created in his song. And since then I've been enjoying his songs and made good friends with other members of LOD when I joined the group. I was suppose to see him last Sept.6 last year but couldn't. Hopefully this year, if ever he sched another show in Toronto, I may see him. He's a wonderful artist and very rare nowadays who really gives good music to people.
