Young British songwriter Bobby Long cut loose with a set of high-energy electric blues for the Non-COMM crowd during Friday’s Free at Noon. “We’ll only get up this early for XPN,” he told the audience. Listen back to the performance in its entirety below.
We've been graciously allowed to share with Bobby Long fans a video from Bobby's performance at this year's SXSW festival Sofar showcase. The video is of one of our favorites "Help You Mend" off of his new record "Wishbone". Thank you to Sofar sounds for giving us the chance to show Bobby's amazing talent.
The 2013 WTMD Concert in the Park season kicked off with a tremendous line up from Bobby Long, Baltimore’s Great American Canyon Band and The Lone Bellow. The combination of a stellar line up and fantastic weather (68˚ and no humidity) drew about 10,000 music loving people to West Mt. Vernon Park. It was the biggest crowd yet, topping the 7,500 attendees from 2012, and ranging in age from infants to the AARP set.
British singer-songwriter/rocker Bobby Long and his band opened the show. The trio was in fine form and Bobby seamlessly switched from electric to acoustic guitar. He sang many songs from his sophomore album, Wishbone. The song I’m most familiar with is Devil Moon, and many in the crowd were singing along.
Bobby proceeded to play Worry About That Now, How Do I, When I Come Around, Without Me and You, Somethings, Line of Sight, and Anytime. (I didn’t get to see a formal set list, so don’t hold my ears and memory to this song set.)
While we are all waiting patiently for Bobby's Audiotree Session #2, his first session from 2011 is now for sale on audiotree.tv
Everything is still free to stream online, but for $5.99 a pop you'll receive each song and interview as individual audio tracks with lossless MP3, 320kbps MP3, AAC, or Apple Lossless, as well as an HD video file of the entire session.
Audiotree splits the profit 50/50 with the artists, so your purchase will help keep both tour vans and cameras rolling!
Bobby's record label ATO Records presents its newest Spring Sampler containing 15 hand picked tracks from the newest releases. Included in the Spring Sampler is "Devil Moon", the first song Bobby wrote for his album "Wishbone".

Unacceptable! Bobby Long and Marcus Foster are playing in my city on the same night at different venues. This is a huge personal conundrum and IDK what to do! Who can I get to fix this?

We're still looking for something in the southwest! California to Colorado to Texas -- Since we know you're not likely to make it through our fair city--we know we'll have to travel to make it to a concert. It takes time to make plans and get time off work.........Please give us some dates soon!
Muscle Shoals, Alabama

Bobby!!! With the release of Wishbone this coming year, I think that you need to bring you and your music to Canada. Although, you have performed in a few cities in the past... You were nowhere near us (my friends and I)
Do you know when new tour dates are being planned?

I like all the choices for your Christmas song this year and I love the River by Joni Mitchell but it's really a sad song, so for that reason I have to go with I'll Be Home For Christmas
